This cherished family recipe has been enjoyed on Thanksgiving tables since the 1930's.

Granny's Sweet Potato Souffle

For the Souffle...

3 cups mashed sweet potatoes 
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix all together until smooth and add to a 9x12 buttered baking dish


For the topping...
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup self rising flour
1 cup pecans (chopped)
1/2 stick butter
Mix until crumbly and add to top of mashed sweet potato mixture
Bake at 350 degrees until brown or 25 minutes
